Why inventive.hacks?
Because I don't want to spend much on stuff that I need (read: I don't have money to spend on expensive things), I usually come up with ideas for cheap substitutes for it. For some, they find the ideas OC while others consider it inventive. I thought of compiling and sharing those ideas through this website.
If you have something in mind that you want to come with a cheap substitute, let me know. We might be able to come up with a solution.
